Michael Jackson - Conrad Murray's Mother Pleads For Lenient Sentence

Dr. Conrad Murray should get a lenient sentence in relation to Michael Jackson's death because he has never drunk alcohol or smoked, according to his mother.

The physician is set to be sentenced today (29.11.11) after being found guilty earlier this month of the involuntary manslaughter of the 'Thriller' hitmaker from an overdose of Propofol in July 2009, and his mother Milta Rush has sent a letter to Judge Michael Pastor asking him to give her son mercy because he is learning the "toughest lesson of his life".

She said: "He is referred to as a gentlemen by all who know him. He never drank alcohol, took drugs or smoked cigarettes in his life. He and I have always had a close relationship as mother and son and there is that special bond with him being my first born.

"This is the first time he is facing such an ordeal. Nothing like this has ever happened to him before.

"He is saddened and remorseful about the death of his friend Michael Jackson and I do believe he is certainly learning the toughest lesson of his life."

Milta added she was "humbly begging" for compassion because he was sorry for the pop star's death.

She told TMZ.com: "Conrad is my son and as a mother I must say I know him inside out. He is sorry for what happened to Michael and had no ill intent towards him. I humbly beg for your heart felt consideration of everything I have said about Conrad, and ask for your compassion and leniency in giving him probation or community service."

Despite her request, the Jackson family's close friend Reverend Al Sharpton has revealed he is hoping for the maximum four year sentence.

He said: "I hope he gets the maximum and more. Anything short of the maximum would send the wrong message to people who are willing to exploit the medical profession for personal greed and gain."

Ms. Rush, I understand you feeling the way you do because Mr. Murray is your son but, I would hardly call him a Gentleman. A "Gentleman" doesn't have a wife and three girlfriends, one in wich he has a child with, he is no better than a gigalo who HAD a license to practice medicine in wich he took the hippocratic oath and failed to follow what it stands for. As sad as this may be for you as his mother, it is even more sad for Mrs. Jackson, the Jackson family, especially Michael Jackson's three children who will never see their father again because of your sons greed of $150,000/mo and negligence as a doctor. As far as being remorseful, he has never said anything to Mrs. Jackson or the Jackson family to show that he is, not once had he tried to contact them as stated by the Jackson family. Your son, Mr. Conrad Murray should be given a life sentence, not four years as this is what he gave Michael Jackson's three children by his negligence, taking the life of their father. He should also have to serve the full four years, no probation, no community service, no special treatment in prison (he should be put in to the general population) and he should also have to pay the $100 million to Michael Jackson's children as stated by Mr. Welgren in his letter to Judge Michael Pastor. Your son, Conrad Murray was found guilty by the jury, now he has to pay. Like it or not, your son is a murderer, a gigalo, an adulter and the world will be much safer without him walking the streets, at least for the next four years. Here's a thought, when he is released from prison, maybe he can get a job with the city cleaning the sewers as he is no better than a sewer rat.

What about Katherine Jackson? She lost a son. Everyone is saying poor Conrad Murray but MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD! Give Murray the maximum sentence which is not enough time. All doctors dealing with celebrities had better take notice and change the way they practice medicine. They say the very rich and the very poor get the worse health care. Seems true to me.

Conrad Murray should be ashamed for not only neglecting Michael Jackson and causing his death but also for having a wife, several girlfriends and seven children. I hope those women have jobs to support their families because the financial support they were getting from Murray had changed for the worse. And his mother calls him a gentleman?

As much as I understand her pleads, I would like to know if she can understand that Michael died because of her "gentleman son". She says he never did drugs, well he didn't have a problem administering drugs to others. She says he should be given probation, because her son is going through the toughest time of his life, well Michael deserved to have his life to continue. She says she and her son have that special bond, well she still have her son (whether he is in jail or not), so what does Ms. Katherine have? Murray have 7 children who he can still be a father to, who does Prince, Paris and Blanket have? The reason he is "remorseful" is because he was found gulity, which he never thought would happen. He felt no remorse before the verdict. He was blaming the victim (with audio to boot). He even put out a movie blaming MJ, showing MJ's private residence something he should have known would have petrified MJ (HIS FRIEND THAT HE LOVED SO DAMN MUCH). He was blaming other doctors from years ago. He was blaming MJ's security, the cook, AEG and anybody else he could think of. She says this is the first time he is going through something like this, well I don't think Michael ever went through this kind of thing either. Conrad Murray may not have had the intent but as a doctor he knew damn well better than what he was doing and he knew what could happen if he screwed up, but that possiblility of $150,000 blinded his judgement and his common sense and because of his negliegence we lost Michael Jackson. Well I can't see how getting 4 years to sit and think about what you did remotely compares to what happened June 25th, 2009!!!!!!!!

So, Murray the yellow belly is using his Mother (Milta Rush) as a 'go-between' pleading for leniency? how remorseful he is, and learning the toughest lesson of his life - a GENTLEMAN who never drank or smoked oh', and didn't take drugs. Ye' God's, why can't this murdering b*****d take it like a 'man' and accept the sentence whatever it is - 4 short years for a life."humble beginnings, and begging for compassion". Strange how the 'humble' beginnings emerge in a last dash for mercy-the poor up-bringing, shanty town shack, barefoot to school in order he be educated in medcine, then go on to abuse that education and murder another fellow human. I doubt if Judge Pastor will entertain the grovelling pleas, will be seen to hear but not succumb to the so-called remorseful apologies. Too little too late, and if the footage of the C4 documentary is shown (which should be admitted by the defense) - Murray can kiss probation/house arrest goodbye. Justice please for Michael (RIP)

Does anyone wonder why Murray was giving Michael propofol? I mean was he being force fed the stuff against his will? Nope. He asked for it, found another crooked doctor, and he got it. Like the Judge AND prosecution said, he didn't set out to end Michael's life. It's par for the course if you're an addict and employ a pusher. Yes Murray is guilty as sin and has been given the max, but Michael was no innocent victim here. If Michael didn't ask for these drugs, Murray would not have been administering them. Chicken and egg. They both got exactly what they deserved. Murray for going against his oath for money, and Michael for not cleaning up his act when he brought his kids into his life. Shame on both of them.
