Michael Jackson - Conrad Murray To Be Sentenced Tomorrow

Conrad Murray To Be Sentenced Tomorrow

Dr. Conrad Murray will be sentenced tomorrow (29.11.11).

The medic was found guilty earlier this month of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - and the Jackson family's close friend Reverend Al Sharpton has called for the maximum four year sentence.

He told the New York Daily News: "I Hope he gets the maximum and more. Anything short of the maximum would send the wrong message to people who are willing to exploit the medical profession for personal greed and gain.

"Michael wasn't just a megastar, he was a father. His three kids will never have a father again. They should see Justice and be compensated. They shouldn't be treated any differently just because they're the children of a megastar."

It was previously revealed that the District Attorney believes the singer's three children, Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and 'Blanket', nine, should receive $100 million dollars in compensation from the doctor for their father's death.

According to court documents, the D.A. asked Judge Michael Pastor to order Conrad pay the money to the kids as they are "entitled to wages or profits lost due to injury incurred by the victim".

The D.A. cites a letter from the Michael Jackson Estate, which estimates Michael would have made $100 million in revenue from the 'This Is It' concert residency which he was preparing for when he died.

Murray's arrogance alone should guarantee the four years behind bars. Let's hope the judge gets it right and sends the proper message to these drug pushing doctors who may now think 2x before putting greed and money before their oath to first do no harm. MJ's kids do not need money; they need their father; nothing will ever replace him.

it was a felony murder. one does not get away with a slap on the wrist for participating in actions that lead to a death!

If the most he can get is 4 years then what's the big deal. I'm sure MJ would like to have 4 years of his life back. We all know that he will never pay one cent to MJ's kids because he couldn't afford to pay for all of his own kids. This is why that $150,000 was so important to him. MJ's kids (with the guidance from Ms.Katherine) will be fine. I am just hoping for some jail time since most experts thinks he will get probation or at least house arrest. Just from the lack of remorse he has and the fact that he could put out a movie with video of MJ's house and audio of MJ's voice and use this deceased man's personal situation to attempt to free himself from what he definitely did on June 25, 2009, I think this deserves the 4 years without a doubt!!!!!
