Michael Jackson - Conrad Murray Could Pay 100m To Jackson Kids

Prosecutors are demanding Dr. Conrad Murray pay Michael Jackson's children $100 million in compensation.

The medic was found guilty earlier this month of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - and the District Attorney believes the singer's three children, Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and 'Blanket', nine, should receive the huge payout.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ.com, the D.A. has asked Judge Michael Pastor to order Conrad pay the money to the kids as they are "entitled to wages or profits lost due to injury incurred by the victim".

The D.A. cites a letter from the Michael Jackson Estate, which estimates Michael would have made $100 million in revenue from the 'This Is It' concert residency which he was preparing for when he died.

Conrad could face up to four years in prison when he is sentenced next week but Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson has previously blasted the proposed sentence as too "soft".

He said recently: "He trusted the doctor and the negligence and everything ... it's really sad because we lost an incredible person. To see and hear the verdict - my mother cried, and we consoled her, and the fans were cheering and everything but it's not bringing Michael back. We lost a brother.

"The sentencing [maximum] was very soft ... to give him two years for taking a life. Forget about Michael Jackson, but taking anyone's life.

"But it happens to be my brother who loved the world and loved people and did so much for the world. He cared about people, human beings, children."

Yeah cuz he just happens to have that in the bank eh? lol no chance. The family wont be laughing all the way to the bank but probably pleading all the way to the estate. But this is what happens when you do as your employer tells you. He kicks the bucket and you get locked up. Hey ho i suppose it's what you get for being greedy and addicted. Did jacko give a though for those kids tho? I mean he didn't lead a life style that ensured his being there for them. He didn't put them first and kick his habits for them did he? No he put his needs first and got himself killed. But I guess I'm wrong. All the fans are now going to say how Murray alone is to blame for the wacks addictions and abuses. The wack was no way responsible for doctor shopping for someone who would do as he wanted. Nah, everyone elses fault and he is totally and utterly blameless for his life style and choices. Not that fans can see that. It's us 'haters' who see him for what he was. An abuser of many things, a liar and backed up by fans who can turn a blind eye to it all, even the neglect of his oh so adored children. Children who came second, third and fouth to HIM. Nice one jacko and wacko fans. Way to go. Now, where's my coffee.

What habit are you talking about? Did you read the autopsy report or listen to the trial testimony? Of course not, if you had you would know Jackson's internal organs were healthy, the coronor said he was in above average health for his age and a nurse who treated him said he told her he was sure he would be safe as long as he had a doctor with him. Jackson did not think he was risking his life; that's why he hired a doctor.

Greed, this is the crooked timber of humanity. Things are not always clear cut. There is a bit of true in everything. In the bizarre world of Michael Jackson we may never know what’s true and what’s false with absolute certitude. The bottom line is, whether you are rich or poor, free or in jail, we all try to live another day and the “situation” we are in becomes our world; we adapt. Michael failed at that, surely he was like a great dinosaur, and like the dinosaurs he became extinct because he couldn’t adapt. Dr. Murray is not the only greedy person in the never-ending MJ saga. In the crux of this drama I would like to jump from that into another shameful exploitation of MJ. A line of perfumes dedicated to Michael is about to be launched by Joe Jackson and a professional scam-artist who is much spookier than Dr. Murray, Julian Franck Rouas. This story will make your eyes curl up in the back of your head when you’ll read about the psychologically malevolent Julian Rouas and the Jackson Tribute Fragrances rogue operation. With no functioning conscience, they have even used Michael’s kids to promote the stinking perfumes…Google up: " The Jackson Tribute Fragrances"

say what's picture

say what

When Anna Nicole Smith died her autopsy showed no evience of organ damage. Are we to assume that she was never an addict and never took drugs until the moments before her death? Feel free to read that document and then discuss why her drug use was not evident and why that's different from Jackson's drug use not being evident at autopsy. It was clear throughout the trial, and Walgren even stated again in his closing argument, that Michael was an addict. Remember, he asked many doctors (and a nurse) if they could provide him with propofol. And ask yourself why he hired Murray. Because Murray was the doctor he found who said yes. After every refusal Michael continued his search for a 'yes' man. And if Murray had declined, his search would not have stopped. Fans have to see it for what it is. Michael Jackson was less than perfect and not what you have built him up to be.
