Conor Maynard wants his new album to be more grown-up.
The 20-year-old singer hopes to capture the changes which have taken place in his life since becoming famous and scoring a number one album with his debut 'Contrast'.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Touring has given me new experiences to write about.
'' 'Contrast' was about girls. This will be about how my life has changed - both the cool and horrible ways.''
The 'Animal' hitmaker recently said he would like to join musical forces with British singer songwriter Ed Sheeran or American musician John Mayer for his next album as he thinks their guitar skills would work well with his voice.
He said: ''I want to work with singer/songwriters. I'm hoping to work with Ed Sheeran or John Mayer. The first album was very much about the big up-tempo numbers and now it's time to get into something a bit more intimate and acoustic, to really show my voice.
''I'm not going to move away completely from the upbeat songs as I love doing them but I'd love to try some new stuff. You've got to experiment.''
Conor has also expressed interest in working with singing sensation Emeli Sande and Canadian rapper Drake.
