Comic book writer Steve Busti is suing the producers of summer (11) blockbuster Cowboys & Aliens, insisting he came up with the concept behind the film.
Busti's Cowboys and Aliens tale was published in a comic book called Bizarre Fantasy in 1994, and he claims his story is too similar to the film's plot to be a coincidence.
According to a lawsuit filed today in Texas, and obtained by Tmz.com, Busti reveals his comic concept was also featured in the publication Comic Shop News - on the same page as an article about Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, the producer of the 2011 film.
He is suing for copyright infringement.
