Comedian Blake Anderson has been hospitalised after fracturing his spine in a prank gone wrong.
The Comedy Central regular and star of hit U.S. TV show Workaholics, was hosting a party at his Los Angeles home on Saturday (17Dec11) when he decided to show off to his pals.
In a video clip obtained by Tmz.com, Anderson can be seen jumping off the roof of his house onto a table down below, severely injuring himself in the process.
Cops were later called to the scene to shut down the party, which was attended by Odd Future rapper Tyler, the Creator.
Anderson underwent surgery on Thursday (22Dec11) and he is expected to spend the next few months in recovery.
Many ticket-holders couldn't get into the O2 Arena show on Tuesday night (September 19th) because they didn't bring photo ID to match their booking.
An album re-release, a new song and a documentary mark the singer's legacy this year.
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
