Comebacks Predicted For 2007by Contributor | 22 December 2006
With 2006 slowly slipping away from under us, industry predictions suggest that the new year may be known as the year of the comeback in Tinseltown.
BRITNEY SPEARS has already warned fans that she is preparing to hit the ground running in 2007, writing on her website she is looking forward to "a new year, new music and a new me".
The mum-of-two, who has split up from hubby Kevin Federline, said she is "just getting started".
Another comeback set for 2007 is the return of cult classic animation heroes the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES.
The green action heroes will make their silverscreen debut next year, reliving the 1990s comics. BUFFY star SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR is believed to have just signed up to lend her voice to the movie as the TURTLES' sidekick April.
PENELOPE ANN MILLER is displaying some blonde ambition as well, with hopes of a career boost in 2007.
The actress, who starred alongside MATTHEW BRODERICK in BILOXI BLUES in the late 80s and KINDERGARTEN COP in 1990 with ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, has joined JESSICA SIMPSON in the 2007 movie BLONDE AMBITION.
She will play the role of SIMPSON's boss in the remake of the 1988 MEL GRIFFITHS movie WORKING GIRL. The film also stars LUKE WILSON and RACHEL LEIGH COOK.
