Combs Comeback Marred By Unknown Singer
Hip-hop mogul Sean Combs' return to the U.K. charts with 1997 hit MISSING YOU is in jeopardy - thanks to a little-known singer.
Combs' song was originally released 10 years ago as a tribute to his murdered rapper pal Notorious B.I.G., and has enjoyed a resurgence in sales after it was performed by the star at last Sunday's (01Jul07) Concert For Diana.
But a mix-up with the single's barcode means the actual number of sales has not been accurately recorded - as it shares a barcode with a flopped release by 23-year-old Londoner Tyler James.
Sales of Missing You have not been counted as a result.
