Coleman Released From Utah Jail

Former child star Gary Coleman has been released from a Utah jail after allegedly attacking his wife SHANNON in a weekend dispute.

The Diff'rent Strokes star was arrested and jailed on Sunday (24Jan10) after police were called to his home, but no criminal charges were filed.

Upon arriving at the home, police located a misdemeanour failure to appear warrant for Coleman from an unrelated occurrence and took him into custody.

The actor was arrested and his bail was set at $1,725 (£1,080). He was released on Monday (25Jan10) and is scheduled to appear for a court hearing on 8 February (10).
