Cody Welcomes Baby Boy

JUNO screenwriter Diablo Cody has given birth to a baby boy.

Cody, who won an Oscar for writing the 2007 comedy about a pregnant teen, announced her own impending birth in April (10) via Twitter.com.

And she used the social networking site again on Tuesday (27Jul10) to tell fans she has become a first time mum to a son.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "We had our boy early this morning! Marcello Daniel Maurio, 7lbs, 2 oz, lightly mustachioed."

Cody married the baby's father, Dan Maurio, last year (09).
