Cocker To Deliver Lyrics Lecture

Former PULP frontman JARVIS COCKER will lecture on the importance of lyrics by musicians including LEONARD COHEN and AMY WINEHOUSE at an arts festival in May (08).
The 44-year-old will talk about the "function of the lyric in popular song" at the Brighton Festival in England on 23 May.
Cocker will also analyse his own lyrics as well as those by Babyshambles rocker Pete Doherty at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall event.
