Clooney Keibler: Is The Romantic Dream Over?

Clooney, Keibler , say the dream isn’t over already! George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have been dating for a couple of months now, though a report in the UK’s Sun newspaper this week suggested the Hollywood pair had split up for good.

Clooney’s representative was quick to jump on the story, telling E! News on Tuesday (September 11, 2012), “A story published by a London tabloid, The Sun, concerning George Clooney and Stacy Keibler is not true. Total fabrication designed to sell newspapers”. So there you have it. Not true. The original story had suggested Keibler – a former professional wrestler - was telling friends that their relationship was over, quoting a source as saying, “She said George wants to be on his own again and has no intention of getting married…Stacy hoped they would be together long-term. It was a big breakthrough to spend time with his parents. But over the last few weeks George has pulled away from her.” The pair certainly spent an enjoyable summer together, holidaying at George’s Italian home in Lake Como before zipping around Europe.

The Sun’s story may have gathered mileage from the fact that Keibler was alone while appearing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Wednesday. Maybe George was at home, doing the ironing.
