Hollywood heartthrob GEORGE CLOONEY has reportedly bet Tinseltown beauty MICHELLE PFEIFFER £50,000 that he will never get married.
The 46-year-old has run the risk of seriously upsetting current girlfriend, 28-year-old waitress SARAH LARSON, but has often joked about his fear of commitment and lack of desire to have children.
Speaking to chat show host JONATHAN ROSS, the BATMAN RETURNS star said: "He's just a great guy, great with kids.
"I bet him he would get married and he keeps inflating the bet - from $100 to $100,000 (£50,000).
"I still think he will, he's a handsome devil."
But it's not the first time the former ER star has bet on the fact that he will stay free and single. NICOLE KIDMAN staked £10,000 on the fact that she believed he would become a father by the time he was 40 - but had to pay up when he celebrated the day childless.
Nevertheless, crafty George told Nicole: "Double or nothing for another ten years."
