Clint Black - Clint Black Hit With Legal Motion For Allegedly Violating Settlement Agreement

Country singer Clint Black has been hit with a new legal motion by his former manager for allegedly violating the terms of their settlement agreement.

The 50 year old sued Charles Sussman in 2008 for accounting malpractice and breach of fiduciary duties, but both parties reached an undisclosed settlement in July (12) and the case was subsequently dismissed.

However, Sussman filed legal papers against the musician at the Chancery Court for Davidson County in Tennessee last week (ends21Sep12), alleging he violated the terms of their agreement by issuing a public statement about the end of the litigation.

He is now asking that the settlement be dismissed and the dispute heard in court under a gag order. Sussman has also asked the Like the Rain hitmaker to clarify any comments previously made about the case.

Black maintains he is not at fault - his attorney, Samuel Lipshie, says, "This motion has no merit."
