Claire's Accessories launch UNICEF partnership

Claire's Accessories have launched a new jewellery collection to raise money for UNICEF.

The high street retailer have created six items - priced between £4.50 and £5 - to be sold in store and online, with £1 from each sale being donated to the children's charity.

The fund-raising initiative was launched at a party on Wednesday (14.11.12), with Eliza Doolittle - who donned items from the collection - entertaining the crowd at London's 33 Portland Place with a DJ set.

The event - which was attended by guests including Lara Bohinc, L.K. Bennett, Joy Vieli and Eliza's mother Francis Ruffelle - saw the prestigious venue turned into a winter wonderland and included a separate children's area with a candy bar, styling and jewellery station, as well as a live graffiti art demonstration.

UNICEF work to deliver lifesaving supplies of clean water, vaccines and nutritional food to children who need it the most, helping to cut down on deaths from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia.

The £1 from each sale is enough to vaccinate eight children against polio.
