Cindy Crawford Changes Views On Surgery

Cindy Crawford is not against plastic surgery.

The former supermodel - who turns 45 later this month - had always vowed never to go under the surgeon's knife as she wanted to grow old gracefully but she has now changed her mind.

She said: "When I was 30 I might have said, 'I'm going to age in a way that honours time and is completely natural.'

"But I'm no longer so highbrow about it."

Cindy - who has 11-year-old son Presley and nine-year-old daughter Kaia with husband Rande Gerber - also revealed how she's much more comfortable with herself now she's in her 40s.

She told Futureclaw magazine "I think I'm holding up pretty well, but what I like most is the sense of power I have. So much of your life you spend trying to prove yourself, trying to make things happen, trying to get somewhere else.

"But then you get into your late 30s and 40s and realise life is pretty amazing right in front of you if you can just be present in it."

Cindy had previously said she is "really scared" of plastic surgery, even though she had tried Botox in the past.

She said: "I've tried Botox, but it scares me. Plastic surgery is really scary, but as long as you don't use these things to change your face, I think it's OK."
