Church Impressed By Swearing Beckham
Welsh singer Charlotte Church was immediately impressed by Victoria Beckham when they first met, because the former SPICE GIRL peppered her conversation with swear words.
Church refers to the wife of soccer star David Beckham as "thick as two short planks" in a sketch for her new British TV series THE CHARLOTTE CHURCH SHOW.
But she insists the slur is merely for comic effect, because in reality she loves the style icon's cheeky humour.
She says, "I met her once and she was really quite funny. She's got a good sense of humour.
"She said the C-word to me. Not at me, like - to me. It wasn't an aggressive conversation. I was so over-awed to hear her say it!
"Victoria Beckham! The C-word!"
