Chumbawamba - Chumbawamba 'Appalled' Over UKip Song

Chumbawamba have threatened to sue the UK Independence Party after its members used the British group's hit Tubthumping at a rally.
The track was played as party leader Nigel Farage walked onstage at the Ukip annual conference in Eastbourne, England this weekend (10-11Sep11).
Former singer Dunstan Bruce is fuming over the politician's unauthorised use of the pro-anarchy song and admits he will consult lawyers if it continues.
He tells Britain's The Guardian, "This song being used by Ukip is so wrong. I am absolutely appalled that this grubby little organisation are stealing our song to use for their own ends. It's beyond the pale and if they use it again we will consider legal action."
Chumbawamba star Alice Nutter adds, "If ever there was gross misuse of a band's music this is it."

Why is this misleading non-story being spread so widely? No member of Chumbawamba complained, it was two former members. There are 5 current members and 6 former members of the band and only two of the former members who openly admit to being far left anarchists complained.
