Christina Aguilera's uncle has urged the pop star to reconcile with her estranged father and spend time with her grandparents before they die.
The Beautiful hitmaker's parents separated when she was seven and she hasn't spoken to her father Fausto, a former sergeant in the U.S. Army, for several years.
The rift has spread throughout her father's side of the family, who haven't seen or heard from the singer for years.
Now Fausto's brother, Johann Aguilera, is reaching out to his niece in the hope of persuading her to reconnect with the family again, telling Star magazine, "We all miss her and want her back."
And the star's relative hopes the blonde beauty will take action soon - before it's too late.
He adds, "Christina's grandfather is 86, and her grandmother is 82. They have health issues. I don't know how much longer they're going to last. Time is running out.
"I know how much joy it would give my parents if she came back into our lives again. It would mean the world to them if they could see Christina before they die."
