Christian Bale - Christian Bale Ruled Out Marriage Before Meeting Wife

The Batman actor had vowed never to marry after witnessing a string of failed relationships growing up.

But he credits former model Sibi Blazic with changing his mind and convincing him to settle down in 2000 - and now the star insists his partner and their daughter Emmeline have made his life complete.

He tells Easy Living magazine, "I never planned to marry. Everyone was divorced in my family so I didn't have very healthy ideas about marriage.

"Then I met Sibi and suddenly it seemed a fantastic idea. And nothing can prepare you for fatherhood. It's the best thing ever. I don't want to leave my daughter's side for one second."
