Chris Rock is ''sweet and very funny'' to work with, according to Julie Delpy.
The 42-year-old actress - who cast Chris as her onscreen lover in her latest film '2 Days in New York' - found her co-star to be ''adorable'' and a ''real trooper'' when they were working on the motion picture, despite him ''not being used to'' the condition of an indie movie.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''Cute Chris Rock! He's adorable, very sweet, very fun to work with, a real trooper you know.
''It's not always easy for him because it's an indie film and he's not used to the condition, but he kind of played the game you know, of the indie film.''
Julie directed, co-wrote and starred in '2 Days in New York' and confessed that she had very high standards when in charge.
She said: ''I'm a pretty demanding director, I'm not like the kind of person who would say, 'Oh we got that take OK, so we can move on.'
''I'm kind of like, 'I want to make sure I have like four great takes, know what I mean?' So I'm demanding with everyone, you know.''
'2 Days in New York' is out on DVD and Blu-ray on October 1, 2012, courtesy of Network Releasing.
