Chris Evans Preferred Bugs Bunny To Superheroes

Chris Evans preferred Bugs Bunny to superhero comics when he was a child.

The 30-year-old actor is reprising his role as Captain America in superhero blockbuster 'Avengers Assemble' but although he loves playing Steve Rogers and his shield-wielding alter-ego he wasn't an avid comic reader as a kid.

He revealed: ''I don't think I ever read one. Not one. I was much more into cartoons and things like that. Comic books were for smart kids and that wasn't me. I liked Bugs Bunny and Wile E Coyote. So it's kind of strange how things worked out.''

Since starring in 'Captain America: The First Avenger' and other hit films such as 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World' and 'Push' the interest in the Hollywood star's private life has increased massively.

Evans finds it very amusing that every girl he is ever seen with he is supposed to be dating.

In an interview with Prestige magazine, he said: ''Yeah, you know, that happens. You go have lunch with someone and you're living together. It's almost comical. If you're out with a friend and someone takes a picture, it's like, 'Well, I guess tomorrow we're 'dating'.' That's just the way it is.''

Evans appears in 'Marvel Avengers Assemble' with an all-star cast, which includes Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson.
