Chris Cornell - Chris Cornell Turns Solo Show Into A Soundgarden Gig
Chris Cornell surprised fans at his charity concert in New York by bringing his bandmates onstage and turning the solo gig into a Soundgarden show.
The rocker played an acoustic set at New York City's Bowery Ballroom on Monday (12Nov12) to raise money for the victims of superstorm Sandy, which devastated America's East Coast last month (Oct12).
However, gig-goers were given a treat when Cornell introduced his Soundgarden bandmates to the stage to perform a six-song set, including hits Black Hole Sun and Blow Up the Outside World.
Proceeds from the gig were donated to local charity the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City.
