Chris Cornell Performs With Talented Fan At Show
Rocker Chris Cornell made one fan's dream come true last week (ends24Jun12) by inviting the man to play guitar for him onstage.
The Soundgarden frontman headlined at England's Newcastle City Hall last Wednesday (20Jun12) and as he prepared to launch into a rendition of Outshined, audience member Ben Dawson called out to him.
Cornell asked the fan to perform with him and as he handed Dawson his instrument, he declared, "This is going to be merely a vocal performance from my end. Ben's going to hold it down on guitar."
Their impromptu collaboration impressed both the crowd and Cornell, who shouted, "Let's make some noise for Ben! What a pleasant surprise that was... I didn't expect that."
