Chris Brown's Documents a Fraud? D.A. Claims Yes, His Lawyer Says 'Horsesh*t'

The LA County District Attorney thinks that singer Chris Brown may have faked documents that state he did 202 days of community service (22 days over and above his required 180), but Brown's lawyer is calling HS (that's horsesh*t), according to TMZ.

Chris Brown can't go a day without trouble finding him, it seems. Since photos were revealed of his off/on girlfriend Rihanna with her face beaten and bruised after he hit her the night before the 2009 Grammys the world has simply not been on his side. He's been on probation for the attack on her ever since, having been sentenced to 180 days of community service, not jail. Recently, not only has he been involved in an altercation with Frank Ocean, but now the DA in LA thinks he may have faked the documents.

As the Mirror quote, the DA cited "significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting" of the documentation handed in. Apparently, the detective put on the job to oversee his community service was told she needn't "continue monitoring him" because Brown's own mother could do it. Dodgy? Yeah, pretty dodgy.

Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, got very defensive about it and spoke to FoxNews to defend his client publicly as well as in the court room. "The D.A's office has apparently lost their minds and apparently they can't read their own reports which clearly state he did the work," he said. "They are making scurrilous, libelous and defamatory claims against my client. They should be embarrassed." Adding, "The whole thing is horsesh*t. It's really beneath their dignity."

Did Chris Brown fake his community service documents? The jury's still out on this one.
