Well that didn't take long did it? Chris Brown made an unceremonious return to Twitter on Sunday evening (December 2, 2012), with a string of provocative pictures of rumored girlfriend Rihanna. Brown's return will have angered fans of the Barbadian beauty anyway, though the intimate pictures were interpreted as his way of taunting her supporters.

Brown made no comment about his hiatus following a bust-up with Jenny Johnson, though posted a black and white Instragram picture of himself looking pretty satisfied with life. A cigarette hanging out of his mouth, Brown smirked at the camera as Rihanna lounged in the background wearing just her underwear. The caption read, "What would music today sound like if these kids didn't exist?" Comedienne Jenny Johnson wrote an article for GQ magazine (published on Friday) in which she offered an explanation for feuding with Brown. She said, "I didn't want attention from all of this.If I wanted attention, I would have accepted all of the invitations to be on shows and to actually give exclusive interviews, but I declined all of them.I've had people assume I dislike Chris Brown because I'm taking up for Rihanna, I'm not. I'm on the side of good, of equality and respect for my fellow woman." The article came on the same day at XXL magazine released excerpts from their January cover story with Brown, in which the R&B singer claimed he was attempting to get his Twitter outbursts under control. "I haven't been as mature and thought out in the past, so, me growing now, it's showing my progression. I used to use my Twitter account to vent, but now I mostly use it for marketing and promotions," he said.

It's looking likely that Chris Brown and Rihanna are an item once again, despite he still being on probation for viciously beating her on the eve of the Grammy Awards in 2009.
