Chris Brown Remains In Seat During Frank Ocean Standing Ovation

Chris Brown refused to get up out of his seat during a standing ovation for Frank Ocean at the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening (10.02.13).

The 'Beautiful People' singer remained in his seat while the audience around him at the Los Angeles Staples Center arose to applaud the 'Pyramids' hitmaker - who was awarded Best Urban Contemporary Album for 'Channel Orange' and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for 'No Church In The Wild' featuring Kanye West and Kay-Z.

Events came to a boiling point between the pair after Chris - who spent the evening cuddling up to his girlfriend Rihanna - reportedly punched Frank, 25, last month when the rapper blocked his car from leaving Westlake Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

However, Frank recently decided to drop charges against his 23-year-old rival as he believes it is a sign of ''wisdom'' to take the higher road and focus on maintaining ''peace''.

Chris is still on probation from brutally assaulting Rihanna in 2009, but the Bajan beauty sparked rumours the pair may be set to get married after showing off a David Yurman Petrvs Scarab diamond ring on her wedding finger at the Grammys.

Fans took to Twitter to question their idol's hand jewellery, with one user writing: ''Rihanna engaged?!?! Or that's some type of promise ring? (sic)''

The 24-year-old singer won Best Short Form Music Video for her track 'We Found Love' featuring Calvin Harris, while Chris left the ceremony empty handed.
