Chris Brown - Chris Brown Deletes Expletive Grammy Twitter Post
Chris Brown has deleted the Twitter message that he posted after his Grammy win, in response to his critics, he uploaded a message that read "Hate All U Want Becuz I Got A Grammy. Now! That's the ultimate F--- Off." According to NY Daily News, the message had been deleted around 15 minutes later but a screenshot was taken and posted on the Mashable blog, retaining the evidence.
Many fellow music stars and members of the public have been critical of the Recording Academy's decision to award Chris Brown with a Grammy award and invite him to perform at the ceremony, following his conviction for assaulting his girlfriend (pop singer Rihanna) three years ago. Brown won Best R&B Album for F.A.M.E. on Sunday, three years after he and Rihanna both cancelled scheduled appearances at the awards, following the assault. The Grammy award-winning singer Miranda Lambert tweeted "Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl," whilst Jack Osbourne posted "if Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show" followed by the hashtag "chrisbrownbeatswomen" And Wil Wheaton of Star Trek reminded his own Twitter followers "Everyone who apparently forgot what Chris Brown did to Rihanna should read the police report on exactly what he did."
Rihanna also performed at the Grammys and won two awards for her work on 'All of the Lights', with Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Fergie, which won Best Rap song and Best Rap / Sung Collaboration.
