Chris Brown was given a frosty reception at a basketball game in New York over the weekend (30-31Mar13) when he was booed by fellow sports fans.
The Kiss Kiss singer was sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden with director Spike Lee to watch the New York Knicks take on the Boston Celtics on Easter Sunday (31Mar13).
Venue bosses noticed the star in the audience during the game and flashed his face up on a big screen, prompting loud boos and jeers from the rest of the crowd.
Espn reporter Ian Begley described the incident in a post on his Twitter.com page, writing, "Chris Brown getting booed mercilessly by Msg crowd after getting showed (sic) on the JumboTron. Knicks."
The Knicks won the game 108-89.
