Chris Brown - Chris Brown And Rihanna Return To Grammys, Three Years On

Chris Brown will perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 12, 2012). His former girlfriend Rihanna is also scheduled to perform at the awards show, reports the Associated Press.
Three years ago, both Rihanna and Chris Brown were due to perform live at the Grammy awards but cancelled their appearance after news of Brown's physical assault on his girlfriend surfaced. The event was hugely damaging to Chris Brown's career and reputation and the singer is still serving the remainder of his five years probation for the attack. As stated in the Associated Press release, though, the singer appears to have overcome his negative image in the media and his latest album, F.A.M.E (Forgiving All My Enemies) has been nominated for three Grammy awards. Rihanna, will also be performing at the event and has been nominated for four Grammy awards. Neither Rihanna nor Chris appear to have made a statement about their joint appearance, which will see them return to the event that they were both forced to cancel three years ago.
Rihanna's latest album, Loud is nominated for Album of the Year, as well as Best Pop Vocal Album and she has also been recognised for her collaborations with Drake, Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Fergie. Chris Brown album is nominated for Best R&B album.
