Child Star Bonsall Charged With Assault

Former US child star BRIAN BONSALL has been arrested in Boulder, Colorado and charged with assaulting his girlfriend.
The one-time Family Ties star, 25, is also charged with false imprisonment and second degree assault.
Bonsall's girlfriend told police he poured alcohol on her face while she slept, put her in a choke hold and threw her onto a bed.
The actor claims he pushed her in self-defence after she cut him with a knife. He is being held on $5,000 (GBP2,500) bail.
