Chet Atkins' Wife Dead At 85

Country great CHET ATKINS' wife LEONA has died at her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born Leona Johnson, the singer was a regular radio performer in the 1940s when she met the guitar legend and married him in 1946.

Her husband died in 2001. Atkins passed away on Wednesday (21Oct09), aged 85.
