Cheryl Cole - Cheryl Cole Rules Out Girls Aloud Comeback
British singer Cheryl Cole has ruled out a Girls Aloud reunion, insisting they are all growing too old to be in a girl band.
The Love MAChine hitmakers, who formed via U.K. reality Tv show Popstars: The Rivals, embarked on a 10-year anniversary tour earlier this year (13).
At the end of the trek in March (13), the five-piece stunned fans by announcing they were splitting up, and the news even upset Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, who confessed she was against the break-up.
However, Cole is adamant the split is for good and she has no intention of reuniting with her pals onstage or in a studio as they will soon be too old for the girl band market.
She tells InStyle magazine, "No, we've definitely split up. I know Nadine always said that she never thought we should say out loud the words 'we've split', but at the same time we don't want to mislead the fans... There was nothing really more we could do.
"I can't imagine going into the studio with all Girls Aloud now. Some of us are now 32. It's just different. It just is... I hope to God I'm not turning up to a Girls Aloud reunion and jumping around doing all the routines when I'm 45!"
