Cheryl Cole: New relationship felt like cheating
Cheryl Cole felt like she was ''cheating'' on her ex-husband when she embarked on a new relationship.
The 'Promise This' hitmaker - who separated from soccer player Ashley Cole in February 2010 amid claims he had been unfaithful with several women - recently began dating backing dancer Tre Holloway and admits she found the new relationship difficult at first.
She said: ''It takes a long time after you've been with someone as long as I was [with Ashley] not to feel like you're cheating on them.
''That may sound crazy, but it's the way I felt after him. I had completely committed myself.''
Despite Ashley's infidelities, Cheryl - who started dating the Chelsea star in September 2004 - insists she is not a ''victim'' and feels stronger and happier than ever.
She told the December issue of Glamour magazine: ''I'm not unlucky in love or anything else.
''And I'm absolutely not a victim. I'm strong, happy and settled - and I really don't give a s**t any more.''
The Girls Aloud beauty admitted dating a fellow celebrity brings a lot of pressure, but there are also problems romancing someone out of the public eye.
She said: ''Dating someone who's not in the industry can be difficult but dating someone in the limelight has its own problems.
''Everything is intensified. If I fell in love with a binman I'd be happy but if I fell in love some really famous man I feel like that would belong to the media.''
