Cole, still recovering from a scary, but thankfully non-fatal car crash with friend and colleague, Will.I.AM, told Heart FM's breakfast show that she dreams about Rihanna. When asked if she dreamt about any celebrities, the Newcastle born pop icon was quick to answer, "Yeah, Rihanna," probably causing a few minor car accidents of her own. "We had fun. You know, girly fun," she elaborated. The pair are used to exchanging compliments, and have also expressed a desire to collaborate on a professional level. Last year, Cole introduced Rihanna as her girl crush when welcoming her on stage at the Brit Awards, and the Bajan star was quick to return the compliment. "Cheryl Cole is hot. I would just like to watch her work. Preferably cleaning things on the floor. Picking up stuff on the floor. Bending over," explained Rihanna.

Rihanna recently stunned fans by appearing on stage with Coldplay. The British band were performing in Paris, at the Stade de France, when frontman Chris Martin introduced her to the stage. They then launched into their single Princess Of China, which they're due to perform at the London Paralympics' closing ceremony on Sunday. Cole has had to plug her new single, Under The Sun with her arm in a sling after Will.i.am crashed into a parked car. Noses bloodied and egos slightly bruised, the pair emerged from the accident with minor injuries.
