Cher Lloyd To Marry Fiance "As Soon As We Can"
Cher Lloyd can't wait to get married to her boyfriend, 22 year-old Craig Monk. The pair met when Monk was fitting the former X Factor contestant's hair extensions and it's been love ever since, with the couple now engaged and - in Lloyd's case - apparently eager to go to the next stage.
"I'm engaged and want to get married as soon as possible. I can't wait," Lloyd said to UK newspaper the Daily Mirror, "People might think I am too young because I'm 18 but they can say what they want. I am from a gypsy background and you are meant to get married at 18." Continuing, she added "I love Craig and he makes me happy. I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him. I have been through a lot over the past few years and I deserve to have some happiness."
Lloyd remained coy on how he'd proposed to her but did let slip that it was on her birthday, adding "I'm not going to say how he did it but it was very romantic." Furthermore, she explained that the wedding would a "traditional affair with a nice, white dress," enthusing "At the moment I am on tour so I can't do it but maybe it will happen in the summer. Basically, it will be as soon as we can."
