Cher Lloyd - Cher Lloyd Calls On Government To Curb Cyber-bullying

Cher Lloyd, the X Factor contestant who scored a recent UK No. 1 with single 'Swagger Jagger', has called upon the British government to stop the recent spate of cyber bullying. Lloyd, who claims to have been a victim of abuse in both the street and on Twitter, suggests "nobody really cares" about online bullying.
Speaking to Bbc Newsbeat, the 18-year-old from Worcestershire said, "It disgusts me that online bullying - nobody really cares about it. No one has made a big enough impact to stop these people. I'd definitely like to see more done about it". The singer, now signed to Simon Cowell's 'Syco Music', called upon the government to take action against the online bullies. Despite claiming to take the abuse concerning her gypsy heritage "on the chin", Lloyd fears that other individuals are less likely to speak up, saying, "I'm getting stronger with this stuff.but there are girls out there and boys out there that can't take that". Pop stars Pixie Lott and Mr Hudson have previously appeared in Bbc Radio 1 campaigns to curb online bullying.
Cher Lloyd will release her debut album, produced by Redone, in November 2011. The record includes collaborations with Busta Rhymes, Ghetts and Mic Righteous. The second single, 'With Ur Love' featuring Mike Posner, will be released on 30th October 2011.

A lot of what Cher Lloyd considers as bullying are just peoples opinions of her. I fshe can't take the crticism then she needs to step out of the limelight. Furthermore with a new album launch imminent, one cant help to think that this is just another PR stunt to bring her into the limelight again.
