Cher Keen To Begin New Tour

Pop superstar Cher is seriously considering returning to the road for her first tour since 2005.

In 2002, the Believe hitmaker declared Living Proof: The Farewell Tour would be her last and she stepped back from the limelight after completing the run of gigs in 2005.

She later signed up for a three-year Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum theatre at Caesars Palace hotel and casino, but now that that's a wrap, she's itching to get back onstage in front of her fans.

Cher is currently working on a new album and she admits she's already thinking about performing live again and incorporating tracks from her flop 2010 movie musical Burlesque - but only if her upcoming project is a chart hit.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com, she writes, "Talked Tour last nite (sic) at Studio...! Here's my Dilemma! I Love Doing The Show !! They'Re Always Fun! but... The Road can b (sic) Lonely when you're Not On stage ! But Last Nite (sic) we were talking Ideas's (sic), Stage, Songs, Putting in Yhsthom (You Haven't Seen the Last of Me) & Mayb (sic) Recreating 'Welcome 2 Burlesque' as it was in film on stage ! & if this CD has hits that would B Fun 4 (sic) new show !"

And Cher has encouraged fans to suggest tracks for a potential setlist.

She adds, "I would appreciate your top 10 or more fave songs ! That would b (sic) a good start!"

I can see doing a short tour if the new CD is a hit because CHER will have new material but to go on the road as she has off in on now since Believe topped the charts in 1999 and do the same act will be embarrassing. She's no spring chicken anymore and the female chart toppers today are very creative. Lets face it CHER is limited at this point considering her age. I heard her show in LV was sad to watch for long time fan's like myself. I never saw it because I have seen her live and her act doesn't change much. With new hit songs then I can see doing a short tour. I love CHER so mean no disrespect.
