Chenoweth Shoots Down Garrison Romance Rumours

America's Star magazine alleged the pair rekindled its romance after exchanging heartfelt letters during Garrison's recent jail stint on charges of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of cocaine and alcohol.

But Chenoweth's publicist has shot down the claims.

Her representative tells People.com, "Contrary to what has been reported elsewhere, Kristin Chenoweth and Lane Garrison have not rekindled a relationship, nor was there any pen pal correspondence throughout his incarceration."

The 29 year old actor was locked up in November 2007 for a drink driving incident in December 2006, which left a 17-year-old passenger dead.

Garrison was due to serve 40 months behind bars in California, but was released early in April (09) for good behaviour. He has since enrolled himself in a rehabilitation centre to kick his drug habit.
