Chemical Romance Make 'Party' Album
My Chemical Romance claim their new album is an "assault party".
Lead singer Gerard Way says the group have come up with a collection of tracks so full-on for their fourth album, 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys', he believes every song will make their fans get up and dance.
He said: "I like to refer to it as an assault party. The whole thing is so full on, there's not a single song you can't dance to."
Gerard also says the first single 'Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)' is "intentionally dumb".
He added: "It's all about having a good time and not being trapped by a fashion or a genre. It's intentionally dumb."
The frontman - who has recently dyed his hair red, which he says reflects how he currently feels - is adamant the LP directly speaks to the youth of today.
He explained: "It relates to the world kids are growing up in today. But without pandering to them or pretending to know them.
"Then there's the theme of staying free."
