Country singer Chely Wright is raising money for an Aids charity by taking part in a sponsored walk in New York.
The lesbian star is aiming to bring in $2,500 (£1,563) in donations for the Gay Men's Health Crisis (Gmhc) organisation and raise awareness for the No Hate (NoH8) campaign, which aims to end bullying in the gay community.
And Wright is calling on her Twitter.com fans to help her hit her target.
In a post on Monday (30Apr12), she writes, "I'm walking in the Aids Walk NY with @Noh8Campaign on May 20th. Please make Any donation you are able to make."
As WENN went to press, she had raised $725 (£453) towards the grand total.
