Gwyneth Paltrow thinks cheese is one of the "best things in the world".
The 38-year-old actress - who lives with husband, Coldplay singer Chris Martin, and the couple's children, Apple, seven, and five-year-old Moses, in London - can't resist indulging in the food and her friends even come to her for advice about how to serve it at their dinner parties.
She wrote in her GOOP newsletter: "OK, it may not be the healthiest of indulgences, but cheese, really beautiful, well-made cheese, has to be one of the best things on the planet. Give me a slice of Camembert over chocolate cake any day.
"Last week, my friend Katie, all too aware of my obsession, asked to be pointed in the right direction for serving cheese."
Gwyneth - who recently released a cook book called 'My Father's Daughter' - admitted she is particularly a fan of "stinky" cheeses.
She added: "For the dinner I hosted for 'My Father's Daughter', Murray's Cheese in New York created a cheese board of my favourite kinds of cheese. I love stinky cheeses and blues."
Gwyneth isn't the only star to admit to a weakness for cheese.
Drew Barrymore has previously admitted she seeks comfort in processed dairy products whenever her love life is floundering.
When asked what she does after a romance ends, Drew replied: "Head straight for the carbs. Macaroni and cheese. Kraft. Deluxe. The kind with the cheese you squeeze out of a bag that takes at least a month to pass through your body."
