Chasez Praises Spears' Comeback

Former 'N SYNC star J.C. CHASEZ is convinced BRITNEY SPEARS can revive her music career - because she's 'on the path' to recovering from a string of pitfalls.

Spears has been plagued by personal and professional struggles in recent years, including a custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, admission to a psychiatric facility to treat an alleged bi-polar disorder, and a disappointing career comeback last year (07).

Just last month (Jul08), Spears' manager Larry Rudolph confirmed the star is currently recording a new album.

And Chasez insists the new record will be a success.

He says, "As far as Britney getting back in the studio, (it's) obviously a good thing. If she's doing what she loves - because she's had a love for music for such a long time - (then) I'm all for it.

"I'm glad she's pulling it together, because everybody falls down in life at one time or another. The toughest part is, how do you pick yourself up again? It looks like she's on the path to doing that - and it's a good thing to see."

Spears' last album, Blackout, was released in October (07).
