Charlie Sheen - Charlie Sheen Sues Chuck Lorre And Warner Bros For $100 Million

Charlie Sheen, the troubled American actor who was fired from the hit sitcom last week, has filed a lawsuit seeking $100 million plus punitive damages over the termination of his contract, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Sheen has enlisted the help of the infamous Hollywood lawyer Marty Singer and a lawsuit was filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court. 45-year-old Sheen, who reportedly earned around $2 million an episode from the sitcom, alleges that the termination of his contract was in violation of Californian law. The suit also states that Sheen is claiming for the "entire cast and crew to get paid for the balance of the season's 24 episodes". The lawsuit openly criticises Mr Lorre, saying, "Defendant Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew".

Warner Bros and CBS are yet to confirm whether 'Two and a Half Men' will go back into production without Charlie Sheen. John Stamos, Rob Lowe and Matt Dillon are among the names being bandied about as possible replacements.
