Charlie Sheen - Charlie Sheen Criminal Case Is Closed
CHARLIE SHEEN, the 45-year-old Hollywood actor who has been the subject of a police investigation following a criminal complaint made by the porn-star CAPRI ANDERSON, will not face charges for an incident at New York's Plaza Hotel in October, reports E! News. Anderson had alleged that she was falsely imprisoned in Sheen's suite, and that the actor had begun throwing furniture around in a drunken rage.
After hotel staff had alerted the authorities of a disturbance, Sheen voluntarily left with officers in order to undertake a psychiatric examination. In the wake of the incident, Anderson had also complained that the 'Two and a Half Men' star had assaulted and harassed her. However, a spokesman for the New York Police Department has confirmed that the actor will not be charged, saying, "There have been no arrests. That case is closed". Sheen had himself played down the incident, recently telling television show 'Extra', "If a guy has one bad night everybody goes insane and panics. I'm not panicking".
Before the alleged incident, Sheen had been visiting his ex-wife DENISE RICHARDS and their two daughters Sam and Lola in New York. The couple divorced back in November 2006.
