Charlie Chaplin - Charlie Chaplin's Granddaughter Is Amy Winehouse Charity Ambassador

Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter Kiera Chaplin has been named as the world ambassador of The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

The British actress, who starred in 2002 movie The Importance of Being Ernest, will be the guest of honour at the Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball on Tuesday (20Nov12), which takes place at London's Dorchester Hotel and will be hosted by superproducer Mark Ronson.

The charity, which aims to educate young people about substance abuse, was set up after the singer's death last year (11) and also funds three scholarships for underprivileged pupils at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London, where she trained in the 1990s.
