Celebrity Apprentice 2012: Clay To Battle Arsenio In Final
The Celebrity Apprentice 2012 final will be contested by Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall, with AUBREY O'DAY getting the boot at the very start of Sunday's show (May 13, 2012). Last week's episode ended on a cliff-hanger, with one of the three celebrities facing the chop, and it was the model and actress who was eventually given her marching orders by Donald Trump.
Aubrey had maintained that she had done the most work on this year's show, saying, "I've treated everyday like it is my last", but it was not enough, and Clay and Arsenio will go head-to-head in the final. The former American Idol star had suggested he was a key reason behind his team winning 70 per cent of the time, while Hall claimed he was a tireless worker and deserved his chance in the final, saying, "'If I got the Donald Trump stamp of approval, I would spend the rest of my life trying to make you proud and let you know that you did the right thing". After being fired, O'Day blew kisses to the boardroom receptionist Amanda before departing in the elevator. Outside, she told the audience, "'I'm somebody that stands in your face and is so bright and shines so big that you're either intimidated, you're annoyed or you're in love".
Meanwhile, the two finalists returned to the Lincoln Center - where it all started during the first episode - and both maintained that they always believed they could reach the last two.
