Cbs Will Unveil All New Shows During One Week

CBS is planning to launch all of its new shows and all of its returning shows in one fell swoop during a Premiere Week beginning Sunday, Sept. 22, the network said on Monday. While the week of special telecasts will kick off on Sunday with the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, it won't be until the eighth day that the season premieres of returning Sunday shows will be trotted out. On Monday, Sept. 23, the network will offer a special one-hour episode of How I Met Your Mother, followed by 2 Broke Girls at 9:00 p.m. and the new sitcom Mom, starring Anna Faris, at 9:30 and the new drama Hostages at 10:00 p.m. The new comedies The Millers and The Crazy Ones will be unveiled on Thursday, Sept. 26. Of all the networks, CBS is offering the fewest number of new programs next season, preferring to stick with those that have already brought the network the highest ratings among total viewers and adults 18-49.
