Caviezel: 'Gibson Is Doing Brilliant'
Actor Jim Caviezel insists his PASSION OF THE CHRIST director Mel Gibson is doing "brilliant" after his high-profile drink driving arrest in July (06).
The Mad Max star was arrested in Malibu, California and launched an anti-Semitic verbal attack on a Jewish police officer.
While Catholic Caviezel insists he disapproved of Gibson's behaviour, he has been in touch with the actor/director to wish him luck in his battle against the booze.
Caviezel says, "Mel Gibson is doing brilliant.
"Everyone knows he's a brilliant director, but I don't agree or support his views.
"I would say that my experience working with him is such that I hope things come back around. (But) I can't support his views on that."
