Catherine Zeta-jones Steps Out At Tony Awards

Catherine Zeta-Jones made a return to the stage at the Tony Awards last night (13.06.11).

The actress made her first high-profile public appearance since undergoing treatment for Bipolar II disorder - which is known as manic depression - as she presented two prizes at the ceremony, which recognises the achievements of actors in live Broadway theatre.

Catherine wore a radiant red gown as she handed out the gongs for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, which were won by Mark Rylance for 'Jerusalem' and Norbert Leo Butz for 'Catch Me If You Can' respectively.

And the 41-year-old 'Chicago' star - who picked up a Tony last year for her performance in the Broadway revival of 'A Little Night Music' - admitted she would consider doing a show in London, but is yet to receive any offers.

She said: "I got my big break tap dancing in '42nd Street' in London. That's where it all started and I would love to do a show in London again but no one has asked me."

'South Park' creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone's 'The Book of Mormon' dominated the awards, winning nine accolades including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre.

The 'Normal Heart' won three gongs including Best Revival of a Musical at the event which was held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
